We are currently searching for an Turf Infill Sales Representative to join our team. This position may be fully remote but requires at least 50% travel within the assigned territory.
Position Overview:
The Turf Infill Sales Representative is a remote position and will be responsible for driving growth in the turf industry, specializing in our anti-microbial coated sand infill, OptiFill. This role involves developing new business, managing existing accounts, and educating clients on the benefits of our innovative turf infill products. The Turf Infill Sales Rep should have a strong background in B2B sales, experience in the artificial turf, landscaping, or sports field industries, and the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prospect & Develop New Business – Identify and engage potential clients, including turf installers, contractors, sports facilities, landscapers, and municipalities.
- Client Relationship Management – Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Product Education & Demonstration – Present the benefits of anti-microbial coated sand infill, including its safety, durability, and hygiene benefits, through in-person meetings, trade shows, and virtual presentations.
- Sales Strategy & Negotiation – Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets. Negotiate pricing and contract terms to maximize profitability.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis – Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and market demands to position our solutions effectively.
- Collaboration & Reporting – Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product development, and logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction and provide regular sales reports.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or commensurate experience.
- 5 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, preferably in turf, landscaping, construction materials, or sports field industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned territories for client meetings and industry events.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of artificial turf systems, infill materials, or related environmental solutions.
- Experience selling to sports facilities, municipalities, schools, and commercial landscapers.
- Understanding of regulations, antimicrobial technologies, or sustainable turf solutions.
