Position Overview :

This is an entry level position focused on assistingboth internal and external customers with various requests for security system programming

support. The role is critical in ensuring the effective configuration and maintenance of security systems, enhancing the overall efficiency of projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
Ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently.
Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to tasks.
Excellent workload coordination and time management skills.
Commitment to continuous technical and professional development.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Entry : Maintain accurate records and documentation of security system configurations and support requests.

IP Addressing : Configure IP addresses for cameras, intrusion systems, and access control devices.

Security System Programming : Program security / intrusion systems for cameras, intrusion, and access control devices across various platforms (e.g., Genetec, Honeywell, Software House, DMP, Bosch).

Tier 1 Support : Assist Project Technicians with troubleshooting and configuring access control systems and video cameras, ensuring seamless operation and support for project stakeholders.

Firmware Updates : Conduct firmware updates for security devices and peripherals as required.

Collaboration : Work closely with field technicians and project teams to provide effective support and solutions.

Preferred Experience :

Basic industry security systems or fundamental IT knowledge is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Work Hours :

Standard workdays and times are Monday Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. In office, may go to hybrid after some time.
