GENERAL SUMMARY
The Account Manager, Global RFP Programs will assist and support the Vice President, Global RFP Programs in all areas to successfully implement and maintain the daily and long-term goals set to create a productive and profitable global hotel program department. To work closely with the global sales directors, RFP department team coordinators, and hotelier members to achieve department goals and targets. Brand membership currently includes 700 hotels and growing.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Under the supervision of the Vice President, the Account Manager is a member of the Global Sales Division. Interaction supporting global corporate transient, consortia and leisure accounts managed by a global sales team. Account management for an assigned group of hotels, responsible for soliciting and managing the daily RFP activity and sales production to increase revenue. Training member hotels on contract software system, liaising with Regional & Area Managing Directors, Global Distribution Systems and Revenue Management/Reservations Teams globally, and Accounting.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Serve as Lanyon/CVENT Vault Administrator – electronic contracting web based tool
B. Manage 30-50 Concierge Service hotels, analyze revenue production data to make recommendations based on market strategy and account performance.
C. Provide Member & Associate system training including customer service support
D. Manage responsibilities to meet and exceed team revenue goals
E. Facilitate Global RFP Program bid development
F. Account management and TMC/client relationships, hotel site visits, PH&R showcase client events, FAMs.
G. Corporate Account Survey RFP division administrative training and duties
H. Effective communication both written and verbal
I. Oversee PreferredNet (company member intranet) maintenance and member customer service
J. Manage multiple simultaneous deadlines
K. Assist with monthly Consortia billing/invoice process
L. Work on routine or ad hoc departmental duties
M. Participate on various Global Sales task force teams to represent Consortia Sales department
N. Generate Power BI production and Lanyon/CVENT reports as needed by Consortia Sales, Global Sales, or Regional Directors for hotel business reviews or general assessment
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong organizational skills to plan and prioritize work while meeting multiple and simultaneous deadlines; highly accurate and consistent worker, excellent customer service skills, excellent communication skills; ability to monitor/advise/coach department account managers and work effectively with others. Worker characteristics are normally acquired through experience in a sales, hospitality or data administration system processing related industry. Hotel sales, front desk or reservations experience desirable; ability to work in a fast-paced environment, exercise good judgment in associate relations. Able to meet and follow all company standards.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working environment is a professional office in a shared work area. Office space is beautifully as well as functionally decorated including all required technology tools. Work is performed on web-based tools, email, and telephone. Ability to travel 5-10% of time as appropriate to support the overall expectation of the sales component of this position.

SALARY
$22.50-26.00/hour; actual compensation within this range will be determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise.
Salary : $23 - $26
