GENERAL SUMMARY
The Project Manager will oversee the workflow within the Brand Creative Department, ensuring seamless coordination and organization among designers, copywriters, and key stakeholders from other departments.
This is a temporary, part-time position working up to 40 hours per week. This assignment will last four to six months.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, Brand Creative, the Project Manager works with the internal creative team, the executive team, and contracted creative agencies to carry out projects as requested by the business owners across all departments.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Work closely with the multiple cross functional departments such as – Marketing, Events, and Sales teams and serve as their point of contact as the liaison with the Brand Creative department.
B. Receive, interpret, and refine creative briefs to ensure clear alignment and mutual understanding between the project owner and the creative team prior to the commencement of creative work.
C. Build and manage innovative project plans that enable ambitious creative development and delivery while concurrently partnering with the project owners to provide transparency of where work is in the process.
D. Document project process, including utilizing email/project management software (Asana) for status updates, scheduling, and running meetings and utilizing internal tools for work tracking to keep your projects on schedule.
E. Manage the coordination and assignment of resources to creative projects, accounting for project demands and creative skill sets in order to allocate our resources efficiently and effectively.
F. Coordinate internal synchs and reviews as required to ensure that creative work delivers to the project needs as stated in the brief to meet consumer’s requests.
G. Maintain the Project/Job log document as well as lead the Brand Creative department update meetings regarding project status.
H. Deliver art files to business owners, publications, and outside vendors as directed.
I. Assist in the creation of large project schedule documents. Monitor ongoing projects and make changes to schedules and documents when a project requires it through completion.
J. Maintain an archive sample folder and update the online hotel feature file.
K. Accomplish assorted projects at the request of the Executive Director, Brand Creative and Chief Creative Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS
• A bachelor's degree in Communications, Visual Arts, or a related field is required. Alternatively, a minimum of three years of equivalent experience in a creative industry or agency environment will be considered.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
• Strong attention to detail and experience with project management software.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with Asana project management software is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This role follows a hybrid working model, with a base out of the Newport Beach Preferred Travel Group office location. Associates are generally expected to work from the office 2-3 days per week, allowing for a balance of in-person collaboration and flexible remote working. Office space is beautifully as well as functionally decorated including all required technology tools. Employee is seated most of the time.

SALARY
$35-45/hour; actual compensation within this range will be determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise.
