Job Title: Valet Parking and Service Manager
Reports To: Director of Operations and/or Ownership
Supervises: Valet Parking and Service Attendants
The Valet and Service Manager is responsible for the successful supervision and organization of the Valet Parking and Service Attendants at a small portfolio of luxury residential properties. The Manager must ensure that they are providing exceptional customer satisfaction by serving residents in a hospitable manner to ensure a positive experience during arrival, service and departure. The Manager may be asked to work a limited number of "working shifts" in addition to their supervisory responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance with brand standards, operating and safety procedures.
2. Must maintain a safe working environment through ongoing compliance of safety guidelines
3. Continually evaluate staffing standards requirements and issue weekly staff schedules and run related payroll.
4. Communicate property demands daily with each associate and ownership.
5. Ensure staff's knowledge of property services, features and amenities
6. Assign specific tasks as they arise to the staff according to demand
7. Ensure proper training of proper use and care of guest's vehicles while driving and parking
8. Interact positively with residents and take action to resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction
9. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
10. Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic scheduling and payroll processing.
3. Ability to multitask and remain organized.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills in a variety of situations.
Job Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: At least five years of experience in the management and operations of valet parking and front desk/door services in a luxury, residential environment.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver license
