As part of the Maintenance department, you will use your troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues with equipment, and make repairs to production machines and equipment, to make a difference for our operation and customers by minimizing delays in production orders.
This is a hands-on position. We are looking for someone with previous experience working on industrial equipment and machines. Candidates with hydraulics knowledge and experience will receive preferential consideration.
JOB DUTIES
- Communicate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize projects
- Electrical and electronics troubleshooting
- Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting
- Equipment maintenance and repair
- Assist with new equipment installations
- Preventative maintenance projects
- Communicate project completion status with management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Understanding of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical blueprints preferred
- Ability to read industrial hydraulic schematics preferred
- Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems
- Previous machine maintenance service/repair experience
- Ability to switch from one project to another quickly
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Self-motivated
- Detailed and organized
This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.
HOURS
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm – with possible overtime
COMPENSATION
- This full-time position will be compensated based on experience and includes our comprehensive benefit package of Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, short term-long term disability and a 401k plan with company match.
