As a Data Warehouse and Analytics Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the team that will work with the functional business team to develop and deliver reporting and data solutions to meet business process and data analysis goals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide effective reporting solutions including reports, data models, and complete analytic solutions for each of the business areas within PLP US.
You will work with an array of reporting and data analysis tools to help users get the data that they require out of the various system and will build applications on both Microsoft and Oracle Database platforms to improve upon the existing reporting solutions. You will also drive the selection of new technologies and help with the evaluation of the core systems that we use to support the business groups.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the resources responsible for designing and developing reporting solutions for the PLP US Business Teams
- Manage external resources that will be used to help with the delivery of reporting and data analytics projects (i.e., Contract and Consulting Resources)
- Lead data analytics projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle
- Use a combination of Microsoft and Oracle Tools to provide complete reporting solutions to business groups. This include the data models, the extracts from source systems, and helping to develop the final reporting solution to the business.
- Analyze business requirements and systems to develop the most effective solution that will meet the business reporting needs
- Explore new technologies related to Data Analysis, ETL Tools, Artificial Intelligence, and Predictive Analytics to provide recommendations for the most effective tools
- Coordinate the support for the infrastructure where the reporting and analytics tools reside. This includes understand the necessary backup and failover requirements.
- Provide budget and resource planning information to the management team regarding reporting and data analytics projects.
- Develop, modify/maintain and test client/web solutions applications using the best-determined technology for development
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex query and data issues
- Explore Artificial Intelligence options that will help in analytics, and to help with the scaling of complex business processes
- Reviews, controls, and installs upgrades/releases of relevant vendor supplied reporting software solutions
- Ability to administer and maintain Oracle and Microsoft Databases
- Periodic travel may be required
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related fields required
- Five to Eight (5-8) years development experience with Report Development and Support of an ERP Application
- Five (5) years development experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and other Object Oriented programming languages
- Five (5) years of building data models from multiple data sources
- Experience with R or other predictive analytic languages
- Development experience with Microsoft SSRS and Power BI
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, and relational database programming
- Experience with R or other predictive analytic languages
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word), including Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience with Azure Server Infrastructure
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and Master Data Management
Schedule:
- Fulltime
