The IT Specialist is responsible for various technology tasks providing equipment and software support to the company and its employees including desktop, server, network, and security related tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate computer, phone, printer, software and other technology support to all employees in-house and remote.
- Implement, administer, and maintain hardware, software, security, accounts, disaster recovery and access to various computer systems.
- Manage Microsoft 365 Copilot, including management of Entra, Exchange Online, and Teams administration.
- Support networking technologies which include WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, VPN, Routers, firewalls, switches, and other network devices.
- Monitor and manage service and systems capacity ensuring availability and uptime for the organization.
- Execute tasks related to lifecycle management for services and systems within assigned delivery spectrum.
- Participate in documentation of all IT services and systems.
- Assist with identifying and evaluating solutions, document pros/cons, make recommendations for services and systems.
- Participate in IT projects through all phases. Responsible for the on-time execution of project tasks and deliverables.
- Other tasks as necessary.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of computers including PC hardware support, MS Windows client operation systems, MS 365 products and services including Exchange Online.
- Knowledge and experience with VM systems with preference of VMware.
- Networking, WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, VPN, Routers, firewalls, switches, and other network devices.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide exceptional service to our coworkers.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid, logical conclusions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables at one time.
Required Education and Certification
- Administration of Microsoft Window's computer operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Networking experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associates or Bachelor's in Information Technology or related field preferred.
Salary : $45,000 - $50,000
