Sonographer - Bilingual (Naples)

SONOGRAPHER 

The Sonographer at the Pregnancy Resource Clinic provides limited obstetrical ultrasound exams under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Nurse Manager. 

Reports To: 

Nurse Manager 

Qualifications: 

1. Commitment to Faith: Must be a committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. 
2. Pro-Life Position: Strong dedication to the pro-life position, demonstrating professional medical conduct and patient care. 
3. Core Values: Agreement with and a willingness to uphold the clinic’s organizational core values. 
4. Licensure: Current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) licensure in Florida. 
5. Experience: Experience in performing limited obstetrical ultrasounds. 
6. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and patient-focused care skills. 
7. Certifications: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR.  
8. Bilingual: English. Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities: 

1. Ultrasound Exams: Perform limited obstetrical ultrasounds in accordance with medical standards of care. 
2. Patient Education: Provide pregnancy education and referrals as per the Focus patient method. 
3. Documentation: Record clinical findings, observations, and medical care notes in the patient chart. 
4. Collaboration: Review clinical findings indicating concern with the Nurse Manager and/or Medical Director. 
5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with nurse-sonographers to determine the best course of patient care.  

Continuing Education: 

1. Compliance: Adhere to state and professional continuing education requirements. 
2. Annual Review: Review policies, procedures, infection control regulations, and safety procedures annually.
