Property Name: Gateway at Huntsville
Responsibilities:
- Provide transportation to student residents to and from the apartment complex to Campus
- Transport passengers in accordance with a predetermined route
- Obey all rules of the road and safety rules
- Be courteous and helpful to all passengers
- Verify that passengers are residents
- Clean the bus as needed
- Fuel the bus
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Property Manager
- Ability to be around exposure to certain chemicals/fumes (gasoline, etc.)
Requirements:
- Valid drivers’ license and CDL Class B with a passenger endorsement
- Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card) is required
- Satisfactory driving record
- Prior bus driving experience (or experience driving a commercial vehicle) preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to use hands and fingers
- Ability to speak, see, and hear
- Ability to reach, push, and pull with arms and hands
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to fuel a large vehicle
- Some walking may be required
- Ability to think, concentrate, and communicate
