Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Woodland Mall. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in facilities maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring that our residential and commercial properties are well-maintained, safe, and functional. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform residential painting and other cosmetic repairs as needed.
• Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure quality workmanship.
• Fabricate components or parts as required for repairs or installations.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Execute electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Use an Ohmmeter and other tools to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.

Skills

• Proficient in residential painting techniques and practices.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Experience in fabricating parts or components for various applications.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Welding skills are a plus for performing necessary repairs or fabrications.
• Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
