Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GA-PreK Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, engaging with children in a classroom setting, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning.
- Manage the classroom environment to ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for all children.
- Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain records of children's progress and development in accordance with educational standards.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience within the preschool setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience in daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with children who have disabilities is a plus.
- Strong skills in classroom management and lesson planning are essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education is required.
- Experience working in private school environments is an advantage.
