What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Technologist - PRN position at Prelude Fertility?
We have an immediate opening for a PRN Surgical Technologist. This is an exciting and challenging position with a surgery center that continues to grow. We seek to fill this role with an individual who can work weekend shifts and additionally, approximately 2-3 shifts per month.
General Duties include but are not limited to :
- Sets up, stocks, and maintains supplies for the Operating Room.
- Cleans and cares for all equipment according to OSHA guidelines. Assists with sterilization of instruments.
- Assists as scrub technician in the OR. Knowledgeable of proper aseptic technique and set up / use of equipment.
- Assists surgeon & anesthesiologist with sterile surgical procedures.
- Maintains and / or reports repair needs of surgical suite equipment; monitors surgical inventory, which may include ordering supplies.
- Assists with patient care (i.e. moving patient throughout Pre-op / Procedure room / Recovery area).
- Assists RN with Embryo Transfers.
- Maintain (clean / organize) Procedure Room.
