Job Summary:
As a Community Relations Director, your primary role is to promote our facility by creating and nurturing positive relationships with referral sources and potential clients, as well as imparting them with the knowledge of the philosophy and services of Prema at Ashton Hills LLC (“Prema”).
You will also form an integral part of the management team. You will report to the Executive Director of the community.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
- Previous experience in sales and marketing within a long-term care environment.
- Proficient computer skills, with the ability to master sales CRM software programs.
- Competency in building meaningful relationships with the elderly.
- Comprehensive knowledge of State Regulations is a bonus.
- Minimum age requirement is 21 years. Satisfactory criminal history check is a must.
- Physical examination by a licensed physician and a negative drug screen are obligatory.
- Capacity to respond promptly and appropriately during an emergency is crucial.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute a result-oriented marketing plan. This includes networking with referral sources, organizing facility events, placing newspaper advertisements, and mailing promotional materials to potential clients.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships within the local community, especially referral sources.
- Equip employees with the understanding of their role in marketing and giving tours of the facility.
- Participate actively in community groups and attend meetings to foster goodwill, enlighten members about our facility, and build productive relationships.
- Engage in any marketing and sales training provided by the company.
- Keep meticulous records of all interactions with potential clients using the designated system. Maintain a thorough understanding of the residence, its benefits, the services provided, the customers, and employees.
- Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with prospects by understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Introduce potential residents and their families to other staff members, current residents, and families. Facilitate opportunities for them to experience the benefits of residing with us.
- Follow-up with prospects based on their individual needs and circumstances. Guide them towards a decision that best suits their needs.
- Submit regular reports to the executive director about sales achievements, status of interested prospects, and the execution of the marketing plan.
- Maintain or exceed the projected census.
- Ensure that families are provided with all the necessary move-in paperwork and that it is returned completed within the allotted time prior to the move-in date.
- Coordinate with the Wellness Director and the Executive Director to schedule an assessment for the resident.
- Notify all staff members of the impending move-in date and provide them with pertinent information about the resident.
- Support the resident and their family during the transition process through open communication, sensitivity, and reassurance.
- Oversee the caregiver staff to ensure the provision of quality care in line with the Prema Senior Living philosophy and resident rights.
- Regularly review all communication tools used in resident care.
- Take part in the Manager-on-Duty rotation.
- Model the Prema Senior Living philosophy, encourage teamwork, and provide ongoing coaching to employees.
- Maintain an open-door policy for employees, addressing their concerns or grievances.
- Respond to workplace injuries according to the Prema Senior Living policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
- Adhere to the Prema Senior Living policies, training programs, and state and federal regulations.
- Complete 24 hours of continuing education in the first year of employment and 16 hours annually thereafter.
- Maintain CPR & First Aid certification.
Physical Job Demands and Requirements:
- Assist in the transfer of residents, adhering to proper body mechanics and safety
measures.
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently kneel, bend, and reach.
- Sit for up to two hours a day.
- Frequently support up to 70 pounds.

Pay: $59,401.00 - $63,134.00 per year
