What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Premier Acute Care Services?
Must possess excellent Customer Service skills. A Medical Assistant Degree or Technical School Diploma in Medical Assisting is preferred. Must be able to Triage patients, take vital signs, medical histories, draw blood, and assist providers with procedures and with the discharging of patients. Conduct point-of-care tests, perform injections, inventory medical supplies, and have a current CPR Certification. One year of work experience is required.
-Administrative duties such as scheduling and registering patients, answering the phone, maintaining patient charts
-Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to professional certification, patient confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA, treatment and safety guidelines
-Performs other front and back-office duties as assigned
All candidates must be able to work weekends, Holidays
Full time, part time, and prn positions available.
A criminal background check is mandatory
