Description:
The Feed Mill Driver/Mill Operations position is responsible for the loading, delivery, and unloading of bulk feed from our Brownstown feed mill to our swine barns and facilities in a safe and efficient manner. This position will cover the Premier East territory.
Responsibilities:
- Pickup and delivery of bulk feed, verify loads for accuracy and deliver them as instructed by mill operator
- Responsible for the maintenance and clean appearance of all assigned vehicles and equipment
- Responsible for assisting in keeping the load out area clean
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Assisting in and around the branch/mill location as needed
- Maintain timely, accurate records on delivery and logbooks
- Always maintain safety standards
- Maintain daily communications with his/her supervisor
- Look for opportunities to increase efficiency safely
- Operate within the standards set by USDOT and FMCSR
- Comply with FSMA regulations on feed deliveries
- Willingness to learn mill operations
