Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources function.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Maintaining accurate and up-to date human resources files, records, and documentation.
· Answering frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to company policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
· Referring more complex questions to the appropriate level of senior management.
· Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of all human resource files and records.
· Performing periodic audits of human resource files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
· Assisting with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
· Acting as a liaison between the organization and external benefit providers and vendors.
· Conducting new hire onboarding.
· Planning and executing special events such as benefit enrolment and eligibility.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Profecient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Proficient with the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
Education and Experience:
· College degree or related experience required
· Prior office experience preferred
· Prior experience managing people
· Must be willing the become HR certified
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
