Duties
- Manage all aspects of the coffee shop, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality food and beverage preparation.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in customer service, cash handling, and food management.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Handle shift management responsibilities, including scheduling staff and managing labor costs.
- Coordinate catering services for special events as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the casual dining or coffee shop environment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food management, and catering services.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for all patrons.
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
- Effective communication skills to lead a team and interact with customers.
- Ability to manage inventory control efficiently to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Experience in bar operations is a plus but not required.
