Part-Time Porter (Janitorial & Community Maintenance)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Porter to assist in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our HOA community. This role is primarily focused on janitorial duties, including trash removal and upkeep around the dumpster areas and throughout the property. As a visible member of the community, the Porter will also play a key role in providing a positive experience for residents by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This position offers approximately 16 hours per week (two full days or four half days), with a flexible schedule that may vary based on community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly clean and maintain the dumpster areas, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and the surrounding space remains tidy and odor-free.
- Walk the community grounds to remove litter and debris, keeping common areas clean, safe, and presentable for residents and guests.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks related to cleanliness, such as sweeping, power washing, or wiping down high-traffic areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or unusual conditions to management in a timely manner.
- Provide friendly and professional interactions with residents, offering assistance when needed and addressing minor concerns appropriately.
- Follow HOA policies and guidelines to ensure a high standard of community upkeep and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous janitorial, porter, or maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move trash bags and light equipment as needed.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to customer service.
