Job Title: Registered Dietitian
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team at Premier at Perry Village.
About the Role:
This is a full-time split position between New Bloomfield, PA (16 hours), and Millersburg, PA (24 hours). As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing nutritional care plans for our residents. You will conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor residents' nutritional status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents with complex medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to residents' dietary needs
- Monitor residents' nutritional status and adjust care plans as necessary
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective integration of dietary services into residents' overall care
- Provide guidance to dietary staff on menu planning, special diets, and regulatory compliance
- Educate residents and families on dietary modifications and nutritional goals
Requirements:
- Licensed Registered Dietitian in Pennsylvania
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutritional requirements, and regulatory standards
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
