We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in various sports and activities, including basketball, martial arts, swimming, and more. As a Coach, you will play a crucial role in educating and mentoring young athletes, fostering their skills, confidence, and teamwork in a supportive environment. This position requires a commitment to promoting physical fitness and personal growth among participants.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the skill levels of students.
- Educate participants on the rules, techniques, and strategies of their respective sports.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages participation and personal development.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and events.
- Organize and lead practice sessions, games, and competitions.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate schedules and events.
- Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe training environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with students in a coaching or instructional capacity is preferred.
- Knowledge of basketball, martial arts (including karate), swimming, or other relevant sports.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate young athletes.
- Background in childcare or youth development is a plus.
- Ability to work in a gym or outdoor setting as required by the sport.
- Lifeguard certification is beneficial for swimming-related coaching roles.

Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: From $16.25 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
- Weekends as needed
