Staff Accountant
About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team at Premier Auto Credit HQ. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheets, and account reconciliations. You will also be responsible for analyzing financial data and preparing reports to support decision-making.
This role reports to the Manager of Accounting and will be part of the finance department.

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial recordsPrepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accountsPost and pay bills, and monitor recurring billsReview & finalize time and attendance for payroll processingReview & analyze Vendor / Customer activityAssist in 1099 & Unclaimed Property reportingAnalyze financial data and prepare reports to support decision-makingAssist with month-end and year-end close processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulationsPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills & Abilities :
As a Staff Accountant, you will use your expertise in Bank Reconciliation, Accounting Principles, Journal Entries, Balance Sheet, Account Reconciliation, Account Analytical, Other Accounting, General Ledger, and Job Costing to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our financial records.You will also use your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze financial data and prepare reports to support decision-making.Your ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will be critical to your success in this role.Required Education & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field2 years of experience in accounting or financeStrong knowledge of accounting principles and regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwarePreferred Qualifications :
Experience in commercial real estate preferred but not requiredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical Requirements :
