As an Industrial Automation Engineer (SCADA Focus), you'll design, integrate, and implement SCADA and HMI systems that interface directly with industrial equipment, PLCs, and field devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement SCADA and HMI systems for industrial automation projects <>
- Provide hands-on technical expertise for configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing HMI systems
- Work directly with industrial control systems, including hardware, sensors, control panels, and motor drives
- Collaborate on system designs, control packages, and operator interfaces to meet customer specifications
- Engage with customers to assess needs and deliver tailored industrial automation solutions
- Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure seamless functionality in real-world applications
- Coordinate with internal teams, technicians, and shop personnel to ensure smooth execution of automation projects
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technology field
- Minimum of 2 years experience designing, programming, and implementing HMI and SCADA systems in industrial environments
- Proficiency in Ignition SCADA/HMI development
- Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or automation environment is required
- Ability to integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, field hardware, and industrial networks
- Strong troubleshooting skills for industrial control system integration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work in industrial settings, including standing, kneeling, bending, navigating tight spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% and work on-call as needed
