Duties and Responsibilities
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will:
- Design complex robotic systems and cells, integrating robots, vision systems, conveyors, and actuators
- Lead the development of custom end-of-arm tooling and fixtures for robotic applications
- Produce high-quality 3D CAD models and assembly drawings using SolidWorks or comparable CAD tools
- Drive quoting and concept development for robotic systems in collaboration with internal teams
- Lead technical proposal writing efforts and support the sales process
- Take ownership of project execution to ensure successful, on-time delivery
- Engage with customers to clarify project requirements and provide expert technical guidance
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align project goals and customer expectations
- Manage project timelines and design priorities across multiple projects
- Identify opportunities for design improvement and contribute to system innovation
Experience and Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
- 6–8 years of mechanical design experience, including robotic system or cell design
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software and ability to manage complex assemblies
- Demonstrated leadership in technical project execution
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Mechanical Engineering Technology (BMET), or Mechatronics Engineering
- Proven track record of designing and delivering robotic systems
- Experience with Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa, or Universal Robots
- Strong background in quoting and concepting for robotics applications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
