Job Responsibilities as a Detailer/Porter:
- Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exteriors of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
- Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
- Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the General Manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
- Clean driveway and sidewalks; remove debris as necessary.
- Drive vehicles to and from service lanes, service stalls and parking lot as needed.
- Make key tags for vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of different cleaning products, materials and tools.
- Knowledge of safety measures needed when using cleaning products
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Experience in the auto industry preferred but not required
