Staff Accountant – MRO/FBO

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile all intercompany accounts for multiple entities
- Month end account reconciliations and assist with month end close
- Fixed asset tracking for aircraft assets
- Record and reconcile payments made for debts, loans, and other large transactions
- Prepare sales and use tax filings as needed
- Oversee Pre and Post employment Pilot expense accounts
- Daily general ledger oversight for accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and operations
- Review and audit corporate credit card accounts
- Ensure proper back up is received and reviewed
- Timely follow with cardholders for clarity on expenses
- Post transactions monthly to the GL
- Reconcile GL accounts to credit card statements monthly
Processes Accounts Payable invoices and payments for the MRO and FBO division
- Generates Accounts Receivable reports weekly
- Assists Controller with payroll processing and payroll reconciliations
- Ad-hoc projects/reporting as requested

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in accounting or Business preferred with 2 years experience, or a minimum of 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Public accounting experience highly desirable
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 | Business Central experience highly desirable
- SAP Concur experience highly desirable
- Excellent computer skills; experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Multi-entity experience
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
- Able to work well with senior management
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong work ethic and time management
- Flexibility to work within constantly changing priorities
- Willingness to learn in a growing environment
