ABOUT THE ROLE:
Manage loan operations functions to provide accurate and efficient service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management
- Employee Retention – responsible for keeping employees engaged and promoting a positive atmosphere
- Manage and maintain efficient processing throughout all stages of a loan from application to payoff
- Accountability – hold team members accountable for accurate processing and maintaining a professional atmosphere
- Reports – prepare and provide loan reports to the board and/or management on a monthly or quarterly basis
- Loan Compliance – responsible for maintaining compliance with all lending regulations including documentation, reporting requirements and training
- Software Administration – responsible for administering all lending software components
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs special projects and other related tasks and duties as directed by management.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge of various Bank computer systems and software
- Working knowledge and understanding of general lending principals, regulations and documentation
- Ability to work well in a team environment and with both internal and external customers
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of direct experience in Banking, Loan Operations and/or Mortgage Processing
- LaserPro Administration experience preferred
- Preferred Bachelor Degree in Business administration or related field, or equivalent experience and/or education.
