THE JOB:
The OTC Packaging Clerk/ Material Handler will be responsible for controlling all OTC packaging after incoming inspection, up through the actual production of the product, along with the movement of Raw Materials, Work in Process (WIP), and Finished Goods throughout the plant.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory of all OTC packaging within the plant, with use of a computer system.
- Check packaging out of room for production, check packaging back in after production, and reconcile using computer-base system.
- Stock material in their appropriate locations.
- Ensure all materials in house are properly rotated and undamaged.
- Maintain knowledge of all OTC packaging materials and the materials location throughout facility.
- Keep warehouse clean and organized at all times.
- Duties and Responsibilities listed above are required however not limited to the job operation. Duties and responsibilities are subject to change according to company needs and requirements.
- Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, repeatedly
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be computer literate and proficient at MS Excel
- Certified to operate a standing electric hand jack is a plus
- Must be energetic, motivated team player
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills required
- Be able to speak/read/write English
- Able to pass all pre-employment testing.
