The National Account Manager – Drug Channel will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key drugstore accounts, including national chains like CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, and regional or independent pharmacies. The role aims to drive sales growth, enhance brand presence, and ensure the successful execution of sales strategies within the drugstore retail environment with branded and private label products.
· Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and other key stakeholders within assigned drugstore accounts.
· Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the drugstore channel to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
· Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, and contracts to ensure favorable terms and alignment with company objectives.
· Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data to identify trends, and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize results.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure cohesive execution of product launches, promotions, and inventory management.
· Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats within the drugstore channel.
