What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Insurance Case Manager position at Premier Brokerage Services?
Premier Brokerage, a Gallagher company, is a full service, nationally renowned insurance brokerage firm, is looking to add another talented Case Manager to our team. We cater to top tiered producers in the industry who specialize in high net worth clients. Our areas of expertise include impaired risk, estate planning, and capacity cases.
We are looking for an experienced Life Insurance Case Manager to work with our Sales Reps and Case Design Specialists to provide excellent customer service and new business management to producers. Experience with Agency Integrator agency management system and Paperclip imaging system a plus.
Essential Duties and Tasks
- Partner with Sales Reps to understand goals and provide excellent customer service to producers. Respond timely to inquiries with courteous and professional communications. Welcome new producers and staff, and train or guide as relationships develop.
- Thoroughly review and process new business applications. This includes review and verification of forms, checking signatures, checking doctor info to determine which records will be needed, confirming producer contracting, ordering of medical requirements and medical records if needed, running illustrations, review of height and weight requirements, and entry of case into Agency Integrator with accurate and full documentation. Use in-house Underwriter as a resource for questions on medical issues or financial justification, as well as educational development as field underwriters.
- Daily follow ups for pending cases through the Agency Integrator command center, emails, phone calls, Rep requests, and case reports. Work with carrier, vendor, and producer as needed. Call doctor offices to obtain records as needed.
- Work with Case Design Specialists for illustrations or product questions
As with all Premier Brokerage employees, Case Managers are expected to work well with their teammates to offer the highest level of customer service to our producers. Communication, collaboration, and creative problem solving are daily activities. Employees are also given the training and tools to grow their individual skills to work independently with confidence.
