Responsibilities
- Develop and implement outreach programs that address community needs and promote public health initiatives.
- Supervise outreach staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective program execution.
- Conduct market research to identify target populations and assess community needs.
- Collaborate with local organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders to enhance program visibility and effectiveness.
- Recruit participants for programs and services, ensuring diverse representation from the community.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate program outcomes and inform future initiatives.
- Provide addiction counseling as needed, offering support to individuals seeking recovery resources.
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to outreach activities and participant engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience in program development and implementation within a community-focused environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively.
- Experience in recruiting participants for programs or services is preferred.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data collection and administrative tasks.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
