EFDA Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Take and record vital signs to monitor patients' health status.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.
• Perform endodontic procedures with the dentist.
• Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist in creating dental models.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dental assisting is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential.
• Proficiency in using dental equipment, including 3D scanners, is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
