Production Line Machine Operator

Exciting opportunity for a Production Line Operator in a fast-growing, consumer products manufacturing company, located in Hauppauge, NY. The ideal candidate for this position will be self-sufficient, energetic, and have the natural ability to make prompt decisions and act upon them accordingly.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• End to end responsibility of ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient operation of Production Lines
• Must be able to execute orders in compliance with quality standards established by the company.
• Ability to set up, monitor and maintain production line equipment.
• Experience performing quality control checks and troubleshooting issues.
• Hands on ability to feed raw materials into machines.
• Experience in operating machines and replacing parts and/or making minor repairs on the fly.
• Knowledge of testing finished materials for compliance to set specs or standards.
• Comprehend functionality of all production equipment
• Maintain production logs and records.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE PRIOR HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WORKING ON PRODUCTION LINES
• Nonwoven industry equipment experience a BIG plus but not required.
• Liquid filling, capping, labeling, ink jet coding, cartoner experience a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and work together with team members while also being self-sufficient.
• Time management skills are a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.

Required Education and Experience:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in fast paced environment
• College/ Trade School graduate or equivalent.
