Customer Service Representative - Retail

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with check-ins and pick-ups.
• Process transactions accurately, including cash and credit card payments.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and ensure timely processing.
• Keep the front counter clean, organized, and presentable.
• Assist with inventory management and supply ordering as needed.
• Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency.

Skills:

- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Proficiency in retail math and cash handling.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Experience with cash registers and ability to accurately handle cash transactions.
- Ability to upsell and promote products and services.
- Familiarity with retail sales principles and practices.
- Bilingual or proficient in a second language.
- Basic knowledge of sales and customer service techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• Skills & Competencies: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and basic computer proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a retail or service industry environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning services or laundry operations is a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Indoor retail or office environment.
• Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
