Job Description
We are looking for two dependable people to clean a distribution center/warehouse in Salt Lake City . This is a great position with a company that has been around for 20 years. The position is responsible for cleaning the facility on Monday thru Friday from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM. This will a physical cleaning job with lots of walking, lifting heavy items, and working outside on a daily basis regardless of the weather.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the floors in the warehouse using a dust mop, and chemicals to keep the floors clean.
- Keep the exterior truck areas (aprons) clean by removing dirt, trash, and junk on a daily basis. There will likely be pallets, plastic, nails, debris, etc. there daily.
- Pick up trash along the fence line of the distribution center on a daily basis.
- Stock supply closets and keep things organized
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.)
Skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse is preferred, but not necessary
- Willing to learn
- Must be in good physical condition, and able to lift heavy items such as pallets
- Willing to be outside in the sun, rain, snow, etc.
- Highly responsible and dependable
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Must be able to pass a background check
