ABRASIVE BLASTER AND PAINTERS

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Blasters and industrial painters to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and coating by utilizing various blasting techniques. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Blaster and Painter will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes on products while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble components as needed for various projects.
• Rig materials and equipment safely and effectively for optimal blasting operations.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in surface preparation.
• Perform vehicle maintenance on blasting equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining clear communication with team members and clients regarding project status.
• Conduct heavy lifting as required during the preparation and handling of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Previous experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
