What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Premier Communications?
The Customer Service Representative will field service requests and implement customer relations policies and procedures to ensure customers are receiving high quality customer service. This employee will work with Customer Service staff to ensure all implementation of software systems is seamless. This employee will also handle escalated customer issues and problems alongside customer service staff.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist customers with billing and service inquiries.
- Schedule customer appointments and process payments.
- Field service requests and help navigate those requests using previous knowledge.
- Implement customer relations policies to ensure customers receive quality service and problem resolution.
- Ensure staff are kept up to date on proper service and equipment changes.
- Train new customer service staff, as needed.
- Resolve difficult customer issues and problems.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of customer service, marketing, or sales experience, required.
- Knowledge of telecommunications technology, products, and services.
- Knowledge of Company policies, procedures, products, and services.
- Skilled in operating office equipment.
- Ability to identify and resolve customer problems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple work assignments.
- Ability to learn new technology and services.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to make sound decisions using the information at hand.
- Ability to create a team environment and sustain employee morale.
