Mobile Unit Driver (PRN Role)
- Hours will vary 0-15 hours a week
The Mobile Dental Unit Driver is responsible for safely operating a specially equipped vehicle that serves as a mobile dental clinic, transporting dental staff and equipment to various locations to provide dental services to patients, while ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the unit between appointments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Safely operate the mobile dental unit, adhering to all traffic laws and regulationsNavigate to scheduled locations according to a pre-determined schedulePerform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in proper working order, including checking fluid levels, lights, and tiresMaintain a clean driving recordAssist in setting up and breaking down the mobile dental unit at each location, including positioning the unit, deploying equipment, and connecting utilities, as neededClean and sanitize the interior of the mobile dental unit after providing patient services, following established sanitation protocolsPerform basic maintenance tasks on the unit as needed, such as refilling cleaning supplies and reporting any maintenance issuesMaintain maintenance log for the mobile dental unit and take unit for professional services (oil changes, repairs, inspections, etc.) as neededAssist in stocking the unit with necessary dental supplies and equipment as requestedReport any incidents or concerns to the Program ManagerCollaborate with care team members to ensure smooth patient flow and service deliveryEnsure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all timesKeep other care team members informed when situations occur that disrupt timely patient flow through site.Contribute to community give back initiatives and be an advocate for Premier’s missionAdhere to patient care needs and the core values of Premier Community HealthCare to provide best-in-class patient experienceWork towards attaining department goals and drive Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI / QA)Other duties as assignedSupervisory responsibilities : None

High School Diploma or GEDOne-year experience driving large vehiclesValid Driver’s LicenseMust be licensed for at least 5 years and have an acceptable driving record as determined by Premier’s transportation policy and evidenced by monitoring of motor vehicle records.
