What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Shop Apprentice position at Premier Creative Group?
The Fabrication Shop Apprentice is primarily responsible for assisting the Fabrication Shop Lead with the execution of show builds, repairs and maintenance of inventory for Creative Scenic Services. From keeping the fabrication shop free and clear and tidy with high level organizational skills to accurate inventory counts, the apprentice finds a place for everything and keeps everything in its place whether its tools, materials, solvents, paints, hardware and more. As different client needs arise, the Fabrication Shop Apprentice also lends support to the production and laying of prints as well as assisting the Scenic Aisle Lead during show prep test and assembly as well as pull sheets and return manifests.
Essential Functions:
- Fabrication Shop Organization, Maintenance and Cleaning.
- Assist Show Ready Fabrication Builds, Repairs and Maintenance of Inventory.
- Assist Fabrication Shop Inventory and Procurement
- Proofing and Production of Vinyl Prints
- Application and Laying of Vinyl Prints
- Printer Maintenance
- Scenic aisle assistance during show prep test and assembly.
- Involved with managing pull sheets and return manifests.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.21 - $21.40 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
