We are seeking a skilled Metal Design Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D modeling and mechanical design, with a focus on metal components and assemblies. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and models that guide the metal manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create Detailed Designs: Use CAD software to develop detailed 3D designs for metal components and assemblies.
· Collaborate with Engineers: Work closely with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure designs are feasible and accurate.
· Revise and Update Designs: Modify existing designs based on feedback and new requirements, ensuring all changes are documented.
· Ensure Compliance: Ensure all designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and company specifications.
· Documentation: Maintain and archive all design files and documentation.
Qualifications:
· Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
· Experience: Proven experience in metal design drafting, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
· Skills:
· Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
· Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and metal fabrication processes.
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
