Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using the dental office's scheduling system
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related questions
- Collect and process patient payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with administrative support tasks as needed
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentist to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide exceptional patient service and create a welcoming environment at the front desk
Qualifications:
- Previous dental experience is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and dental office systems is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer software for data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of front desk procedures in a dental office setting
