Our experienced Support Center team assists dentists with management of non-clinical staffing and human resources, finance and payroll administration, marketing, payor relations, supplies and capital equipment procurement, as well as information systems. With experience and dedicated support from professional management, dental offices are free to focus their attention on providing patient care.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Lead Dentist to spearhead the opening of our brand-new dental office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dentist with an entrepreneurial spirit to build and shape a practice from the ground up. As the Lead Dentist, you will be instrumental in creating and cultivating the office culture, establishing a strong patient base, and leading a team of high caliber dental professionals. As the Lead Dentist, your expertise in delivering comprehensive dental care, dedication to patient satisfaction, and leadership skills will be crucial to the success of the practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including but not limited to cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
  • Perform routine dental examinations, cleanings, and preventive treatments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Interpret diagnostic images (X-rays) to assess oral health and identify issues.
  • Work closely with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Collaborate with specialists for complex cases and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and clinical notes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in dentistry and continuously update clinical knowledge.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to enhance skills and maintain licensure.
  • Effectively communicate treatment plans, procedures, and post-operative care instructions to patients.
  • Address patient concerns and inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Previous experience working in a general dentistry practice is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong clinical skills in general dentistry procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing quality patient care.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to contribute to and drive the success of the practice.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
