What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sonographer (MFM) position at PREMIER DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES INC?
Position: MFM Sonographer
Reports To: Regional Manager
Summary: The MFM Sonographer will function as a healthcare provider who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising MFM Physician, serves as a medical imaging professional who provides clinically relevant information to assist the MFM Physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position is eligible for up to a $6000 Sign-on BONUS!
Primary Responsibilities/Duties (include but are not limited to):
Scans Routinely Performed:
- Early OB’s, viability and dating
- Fetal anatomy scans level II, singleton & multiples
- Follow up anatomy scans
- Follow up growth, 2nd/3rd trimester
- BPP’s
- Familiarity with NTs
- Cerclage monitoring
- Pelvic ultrasound/3D imaging of endo
- Thoroughly explain the examination procedures to patients in a friendly, comforting manner
- Perform scanning test/functions according to MFM Physician’s requisition
- Perform follow-up MFM ultrasound exams (MFM Physician reads remote)
- Set up and clean all scanning equipment/work area prior to first patient
