Premier Distributing Company is looking for CDL - Drivers. In this role you will be responsible for delivering and for properly maintaining all Premier Distributing products on retail shelves, refrigerated, warm storage and maintaining paper P.O.S.
Duties of the Job
- Prepare truck for daily runs including proper care, maintenance and cleaning of trucks and equipment.
- Check in and out with the liquor or store manager in a friendly and courteous manner and maintain their respect and good will.
- Check stock in the retailer’s stockroom, on shelves, in coolers, and on displays. Stock shelves with new inventory from truck and remove outdated inventory. Rotate current stock on shelves according to code date.
- Face the warm shelf and cooler.
- Install, and maintain paper P.O.S. items
- Pick up breakage, kegs and/or pallets for return to Premier Distributing Company warehouse. Clean up any breakage.
- Account for all assigned money, equipment, inventory and other company assets on a daily basis.
- Assist other operations team members with duties as needed.
- Attend scheduled and previously unscheduled meetings.
- Perform all other duties as assigned and directed by Management.
Qualifications
General Eligibility Requirements of the Job
- Work experience requirement: Previous delivery experience and operation of three or four-axle tractor-trailer truck
- Education requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
- Training or special skills requirement: Commercial Drivers License
- Age requirement: Must be at least 21 years old
- License(s)/certification(s) required: Commercial Driver's License Class
- Driving record requirement: No more than 2 moving violations within three years. No DWI convictions in past 7 years.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and move up to 165 pounds occasionally.
COMPENSATION $52,638 starting (annual base commission)
