Child Prodigy South is a licensed childcare center seeking a full-time Van Driver/School Age Teacher!

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, valid Class E or Chauffer's license, and the ability to pass all background checks. Must be 23 years of age or older. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, full-time, 8am-5pm

Compensation: $15-$16/hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities

• Transport children daily while following state regulations and health regulations pertaining to duties.
• Follow proper protocol and submit required paperwork to Director in a timely manner.
• Communicate with parents effectively both written and verbally.
• Support coordinating field trips and communicate logistics, procedures and expectations to administration, teachers, and parents.
• Mentor and train substitute Bus drivers to cover absences.
• Maintain the vehicle according to state regulations.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe bus.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
