Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Experience in sales within the food service industry is preferred.
- Proficient in cash handling with basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
