Job Title: Equipment Rental Sales Person
Job Description: Premier Equipment is seeking a motivated and results-driven Equipment Rental Sales Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving rental sales by developing strong relationships with customers, understanding their equipment needs, and providing tailored solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand the rental business.
- Provide expert product knowledge and recommend the right equipment solutions based on customer needs.
- Process rental agreements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and return of equipment.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach and relationship management.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and rental agreements in our system.
- Work closely with the service and parts departments to ensure equipment availability and quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sales, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in equipment rental, sales, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to sales.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of construction and landscaping equipment is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
