Mover/Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods and assisting with the moving process for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle various moving tasks efficiently. As a Mover/Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive their items safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles such as box trucks or vans for transporting goods.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients during the moving process.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for efficient movement of heavy items within warehouses or during transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment used.
• Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries, including inventory lists and delivery confirmations.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Background in commercial driving preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and processes is a plus.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Experience as a van driver or courier is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling items during moves.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
