Tax Administrator, Hybrid 3 days a week in Calabasas or the Century City office
We’re looking for a sharp, tech-savvy Tax Administrator to join a forward-thinking, people-first tax advisory team. This hybrid role blends traditional tax administrative responsibilities with software support and internal operations, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
You'll serve as the connective tissue between clients, tax professionals, and our systems—ensuring tax projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and the team is empowered with the right tools and information.
What You’ll Do
- Manage key administrative workflows related to tax filings, extensions, and estimated payments
- Coordinate with clients to gather tax documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and manage engagement letters and e-signature workflows
- Maintain digital files and help enforce best practices in e-filing processes
- Provide internal support for tax software platforms, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with 3rd-party vendors
- Assist in documenting internal processes and creating self-help resources or training guides
- Participate in the testing, rollout, and maintenance of new tools and software
- Provide proactive client support on upcoming enhancements or new technologies
- Support project timelines and help the team stay organized and ahead of deadlines
Who You Are
- 3 years of experience in tax or software support within public accounting
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable navigating tax or accounting platforms like CCH Axcess, GoFileRoom, GoRS, CaseWare, or similar
- Strong organizational skills—you can juggle multiple timelines without dropping the ball
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with a collaborative mindset
- Quick to learn new platforms and unafraid of a tech challenge
- Thrives in a high-performing, team-oriented environment with a growth mindset
