We have been serving Maryland, D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia for the past 16 years. Our NICET certified employees install, inspect and service Fire Alarm systems, Sprinkler systems, Fire Suppression systems and Fire Extinguishers. We are growing at an exponential pace and are in need of Quality Technicians and Inspectors at all levels of skill and experience. Currently we are a Honeywell, Potter and Auto Call distributor. We service over 1,000 locations.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of fire protection systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections or repairs of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations.
- Test and maintain fire alarm systems, ensuring proper functionality and compliance.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Provide detailed reports on inspection findings, including recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
- Stay updated on industry standards, codes (including NFPA), and best practices related to fire safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler inspection or related field service roles.
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems, including sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration with team members.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to lift 70 pounds
- Ability to work on ladders and or lifts
- Must be able to pass drug prescreening and background checks
- Willingness to learn
- Minimum of 2 years Repairing/Inspecting Fire Sprinkler systems
